In every generation, the Church is only as alive as her dependence on the Holy Spirit. This is not a call to religious activity, but to divine encounter—where human effort gives way to heavenly empowerment.
The same Spirit who moved powerfully in the Book of Acts is still at work today, seeking vessels that are yielded, hungry, and expectant. Revival begins when the people of God return to wholehearted dependence on His presence and power.
1. Pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for a fresh baptism and outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon believers everywhere, that the Church will be revived and empowered with power from on high.
Scripture: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh...” — Acts 2:17
2. Pray for the restoration of spiritual gifts and boldness.
Ask God to awaken spiritual gifts within the Body of Christ and restore sensitivity to His voice, spiritual discernment, and boldness to faithfully represent Christ.
Scripture: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” — 1 Corinthians 12:7
3. Pray for deeper encounters with God.
Pray for believers to experience deeper encounters with God that transform their prayer lives, devotion, consecration, and hunger for His presence.
Scripture: “I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.” — Exodus 33:18
4. Pray for facilitators and church planters.
Pray for Northern facilitators and church planters serving across Nigeria. Ask God to grant them boldness, wisdom, supernatural protection, and courage amid rising insecurity and kidnapping threats.
Scripture: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” — Psalm 27:1
5. Pray for unity in the Body of Christ.
Pray that denominational barriers in Northern Nigeria will be broken down and that churches and Christian leaders will walk together in love, humility, and a shared Kingdom purpose.
Scripture: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1
6. Pray for families facing health challenges.
Pray for healing, strength, and divine intervention for families facing difficult circumstances. In particular, pray for the mother of our facilitator in Niger State who is battling breast cancer. Ask God for healing, comfort, strength, and grace for the entire family.
Scripture: “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.” — Jeremiah 30:17
7. Pray for Nigeria's forthcoming general elections.
Pray for God's guidance over the forthcoming general elections in Nigeria. Ask that the process will be peaceful, credible, transparent, and free from violence or disruption, and that the will of God will prevail.
Scripture: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice...” — Proverbs 29:2
Over the Church: A fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit is coming upon the people of God. Hearts are being awakened, spiritual gifts are being stirred, and believers are receiving fresh boldness, power, and hunger for God's presence.
Over Northern Nigeria: The Lord is strengthening His people with boldness, unity, wisdom, and power to stand firm in every season. Facilitators, church planters, families, and Christian communities are receiving divine strength and protection.
We declare that the fire of the Holy Spirit will burn brightly, the Church will arise in power, and the purposes of God will prevail across Nigeria and the nations.
